Long Bio

​

Marleigh is a 33-year-old pre published new adult fantasy author from Los Angeles, California who struggles with brevity. She graduated from Emerson College with an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing in Spring, 2024. A longtime writer, she resides in her native city of Los Angeles, where she spends way too much time listening to Taylor Swift songs and reading smutty books. She is currently querying her debut novel, World Breaker. Marleigh began writing when she was in middle school, and has honed her craft over several decades of practice. She contributed to fan fiction forums as a teenager and young adult, but graduated to writing original stories in her early twenties.

Even Marleigh's earliest works featured powerful female characters and themes of overcoming physical and mental hardships. It has always been Marleigh's passion to capture the complexities of human emotion while crafting detailed, relatable stories. Appealing to her readership's need for dynamic, interesting characters in fantasy settings is Marleigh's primary goal in her writing.

Currently, Marleigh works for a large digital marketing firm in California as a Media Delivery Manager. She uses her creative skills and extensive professional experiences to meet client goals on marketing campaigns. In her free time, she enjoys wine tasting, boxing, furniture renovation, and reading all of the fantasy books that she can find.
